  • Venezuela got its name by Spanish Colonizers because of homes that were on stilts along the shores of Lake Maracaibo reminded them of Venice, Italy. Venezuela means "Little Venice".

  • The worlds largest rodent is the capybara, which lives in Venezuela and is about 140 pounds. Capybaras eat grass, fruit, and tree bark.

  • English is one of the most commonly spoken foreign languages.
