Venezuela got its name by Spanish Colonizers because of homes that were on stilts along the shores of Lake Maracaibo reminded them of Venice, Italy. Venezuela means "Little Venice".

The worlds largest rodent is the capybara, which lives in Venezuela and is about 140 pounds. Capybaras eat grass, fruit, and tree bark.
